Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar attended appointment letter distribution program in Patna on November 04. During the program, he accused Centre of not helping the backward states.

Nitish Kumar said, “Centre isn't helping backward states. Bihar has a very old demand for special status, but Centre has kept silence on this demand.

If Bihar had gotten this status, there would've been more development here. I'm developing the state on my own strength.”
