Riding a bicycle without wearing a helmet is not a good practice, but performing dangerous bike stunts without a helmet is a big no-no, a lesson Steven Corkett learned the hard way.

Watch Steven as he launches his cycle off the top of a flight of stairs, spins his ride mid-air, and then experiences a gnarly crash for his efforts.

"A group visit to Camden, London became memorable for the wrong reason, haha," the subject said. "This was the first time I tried such a stunt and my attempt didn't go well. I urge all riders out there to always keep safety first and wear a lid, helmet, brain bucket, etc. while riding."
