España debutaba en la segunda temporada de SailGP con un talentoso equipo de jóvenes cargados de humildad, pero también de motivación. La tripulación formada por Florian Trittel, Jordi Xammar, Joan Cardona, Diego Botin, Joel Rodríguez, Andrea Emone, Matthew Barber y el neozelandés Phil Robertson como piloto, cumplió con creces y, si bien no logró terminar en el podio general, sí conquistó a sus fans (la "marea roja") ganando carreras en Sydney y en Cádiz . ¡En casa simplemente sabe mejor!
The Spain SailGP Team debuted in Season 2 with a talented team of humble but highly motivated young sailors. The crew including Florian Trittel, Jordi Xammar, Joan Cardona, Diego Botin, Joel Rodríguez, Andrea Emone, Matthew Barber and New Zealander driver Phil Robertson definitely delivered and while they could not get into the final podium, they did win over fans ("la marea roja", the red tide) by winning races in both Sydney and Cádiz. It just tastes better at home!
