Lula Becomes President of Brazil for 3 Terms

Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva aka Lula, former left-wing president of Brazil, won the election
after defeating right-wing defender Jair Bolsonaro.
This election, which brought together Lula and Bolsonaro, was one of the most
significant and painful in Brazil's history.
Quoted from The Guardian on Monday, October 31, 2022, after a quick count of 99 votes, Lula who
also a former factory worker who became President of Brazil exactly 20 years ago, has earned
50.8 percent of the vote. Bolsonaro, the right-wing defense president, received 49.1 percent of the vote.
