The Magic Mixture — This Is The Magic Mixture 1968 (UK, Psychedelic Rock)1

The debut and only album from the band from London. The recording of the album took place in June 1968 in a converted studio in the basement of the house where Saga Records owner Marcel Rodd lived. The disc was released a couple of months later, in September 1968, there were no singles to support the album, but the label ordered an article about it in Record Mirror. However, later Saga Records decided that independent youth music was not profitable enough, and the label's management stopped their bold experiments with the counterculture. The group was left without a label, without advertising, their participation in the grandiose rock festival held on the Isle of Wight (Isle Of Wight) unexpectedly fell through and they lost their last hope. The band, after playing for some time, recorded several demo tracks. Then, changing the name to "Pleasant Street",
