Vladimir Putin has called Liz Truss "crazy" and “a bit out of it” for accusing Russia of nuclear “sabre rattling” last month.

The Russian president was speaking during a rambling four-hour question and answer session in Moscow in which he warned that the West's global dominance was over.

The UK's former prime minister told the UN in September Russia was “sabre rattling’ and threatening to use nuclear weapons.

Mr Putin used the Q&A to once again blame the West for his war against Ukraine and accused western powers of playing a “deadly game”.
