Budget reveals $2.4 billion cut from public hospitals over 4 years

Budget papers have revealed $2.4 billion dollars will be slashed from public hospitals over the next four years. President of the AMA, Steve Robson, says the cut would mean hundreds of thousands of people could be waiting years for elective operations.
