CNBC reports that Amazon
made the announcement on Oct. 25.
The feature will be available to U.S. users by Nov. 25, otherwise known as Black Friday.
Venmo, which began as a peer-to-peer payment service, has vastly expanded in recent years to be accepted by retailers. .

After Amazon announced that it will accept the new payment option, shares of Venmo owner PayPal rose 7%.
To use the new feature, simply
add your Venmo account in the payment details of your Amazon account.
Then at checkout, select Venmo
as the payment option. .
Other forms of payment that Amazon currently accepts include credit and debit cards, HSA and
FSA accounts, store cards and EBT cards.
