The 6.4-magnitude earthquake, which struck Abra at 10:59 p.m. on October 25, 2022, was also felt in neighboring provinces. It was felt at Intensity VII (destructive) in Danglas, Tubo, and Licuan-Baay in Abra; City of Batac, Dingras, and Pinili in Ilocos Norte; and Sinait, Ilocos Sur.
