Pueblo Grande Museum is located on a 1,500-year-old archaeological site once inhabited by the Ancestral Sonoran Desert People. A fully accessible 2/3 mile trail takes visitors through an extraordinary archaeological site where you can see a partially excavated platform mound, a ballcourt, and centuries-old irrigation canals that are among the rare, remaining examples of Ancestral Sonoran Desert People’s exceptional architecture and engineering skills.
