Evacuation orders remain in Echuca, Murray River rising

SES crews from Queensland have arrived in Victoria to provide extra support in flood rescue and recovery. Evacuation orders remain in place for Echuca, with the Murray River set to peak sometime over the weekend. Some remaining residents in Kerang are currently cut-of. After evacuations were halted overnight. Victoria SES says the flood emergency is far from over and communities should be on high alert as more rain comes over the weekend.
