Was the Celtics Opening Night vs 76ers a STATEMENT Win?
In their first game of the season, the Boston Celtics hosted the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night and honored the late Bill Russell and his vast legacy. For the Celtics, the game served as a testing point under Joe Mazzulla, as they learned and adapted to slight changes in style of play.

After the dust settled, the Celtics walked away with a 126-117 win over the Sixers, and looked very confident and composed in doing so. New addition Malcolm Brogdon was a massive boost to Boston's rotation, and new faces Noah Vonleh and Blake Griffin contributed with no Robert Williams and Al Horford getting into early foul trouble.
