Woman, 24, is left with brain damage after homeless man plunged GARDEN SHEARS into the back of her head during random street attack

A 24-year-old woman was stabbed in the head with a set of gardening shears by a homeless man in Los Angeles last week, leaving her with brain damage. Kyli Watts was walking down the street on October 10 when Jonathan Cole, 30, approached her and stabbed her in the head with a pair of shears in a completely unprovoked attack. Watts was able to walk away from the scene to a nearby café and call her mother, a psychiatric nurse in North Carolina, for help. Friends say the four-inch blades were stuck in her head and that doctors had to surgically remove them.
