Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng said his “total focus” is on “delivering the mini-budget and making sure that we get growth back into the economy”, as he attended an IMF conference in Washington on Thursday. Asked whether he will still be chancellor next month, he responded “absolutely, 100%, I’m not going anywhere”.
