Indian Navy’s MiG 29K Aircraft Crashes During Sortie Off Goa, Pilot Rescued By Coast Guard’s Dornier Aircrafts

On October 12, two Dornier surveillance aircrafts of the Indian Coast Guard were lined up at the Dabolim air base in Goa, reported ANI. They were to participate in a formation sortie over Karnataka. As reported by ANI, soon news about the crash of a MiG 29K aircraft of the Indian Navy over the sea broke out. The two aircrafts were immediately diverted towards the suspected crash site, Indian Coast Guard officials told ANI. The aim was to rescue the pilot of the aircraft. The pilot was soon rescued.
