Truss and Starmer clash over mini-budget at PMQs

Sir Keir Starmer has renewed calls for the government to reverse its "kamikaze mini-budget". The Labour leader accused the Conservative Party of going "on a borrowing spree", sending mortgage rates "sky-rocketing by 500 pounds a month", leaving millions of homeowners "worried sick". Prime Minister Liz Truss hit back at criticism of the mini-budget, saying Labour is opposing the "energy price guarantee", which will mean a typical UK household will now pay up to an average £2,500 a year on their energy bill for the next two years.
