Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers is warning Australia faces the prospect of a global economic downturn. In a pre-budget speech in Brisbane Mr Chalmers highlighted the challenges facing his upcoming budget. He says the government can't assume Australia will not be affected by overseas pressures.
