When you take a swing at a house spider, you better not miss!

Hysterical footage has surfaced from Newport, the UK, which shows a woman's attempt at attacking a spider backfiring pretty badly.
The funny clip shows Robyn Price waiting for the right time to crush the crawling freak with her slipper. However, when she goes for the kill shot, she misses, which allows the arachnid to sense the danger looming over its head.
It then starts moving and freaks out the subject in the process.
"Giant house spider held my daughter hostage in the bathroom," Robyn said. "Tried to get rid of it and it decided to go for a fight instead."
