Dubai's newest Hindu temple officially opens in worship village

Dubai’s New Hindu temple was opened on Tuesday, one day ahead of the Dussehra festival and is in Jebel Ali's 'Worship Village'. This temple is an extension of the Sindhi Guru Darbar Temple, which stands to be one of the oldest Hindu temples in the UAE.

The foundation was laid in February 2020. It is said to be UAE’s first community-driven temple, The temple, which will be officially open to the public from October 5 -- the day of the Dussehra festival, welcomes people of all faiths and has allowed entry to worshippers and other visitors to view the 16 deities and other interior works. The standout design of the temple blends Indian and Arabic artistic impression and which tends to be UAE’s latest insignia of peaceful coexistence in spiritual corridor of the emirate.
