ARLINGTON, TX - The Dallas Cowboys (3-1) win their third straight game and eight consecutive win over the Washington Commanders (1-3) on Sunday afternoon in AT&T Stadium in a 25-10 victory.

Quarterback Cooper Rush is really starting to get comfortable with this offense and the Cowboys are starting to look like a well oiled machine. Rush is still undefeated at 4-0 in career starts. He finished the night 15-of-27 for 223 yards and two touchdowns.

Wide Receiver Ceedee Lamb led in receiving yards with six catches for 97 yards, his 30-yard touchdown in the beginning of the fourth quarter gave Dallas a comfortable lead for the remainder of the game.

Wide Receiver Michael Gallup made his debut back this afternoon after being out with an ACL injury since January 2. He made his way into the end zone after eight long months and had a nine yard touchdown shortly before the half to give Dallas 12-6.

“He’s a crucial piece to the puzzle when it comes to this offense.” CeeDee Lamb told us in the locker room after the game.

Gallup told us after the game that he has waited a very long time and it’s been a long eight months. He said getting into the end zone was definitely exciting.

Kicker Brett Maher had an exceptional game for the Cowboys. He has started off the season really hot and has helped Dallas secure these wins. He has hit 8-of-9 this season so far with four makes from 50 or longer. He made a 53-yard field goal today and a 45-yard field goal to give the Cowboys a 6-0 lead over the Commanders. He has now made field goals from the 50 yards, 51 yard, 53 yards, and 54 yards.

Washington’s defense struggled with penalties that very much so benefited the Cowboys. The Commanders had 11 penalties for a total of 136 total yards. While the Cowboy’s only had four penalties for 20 yards.

On the other side of the ball, the Cowboy’s defense continues to show up on every single snap.

“They are the reason we are winning games. It’s plain and simple.” Cooper Rush told us in the post game press conference.

In the first four games of the season the defense only gave up 19 points or less to their opponents and only gave up 10 total points to Washington today.

Trevon Diggs added another interception to his resume, he has two on the season.

DaRon Bland sealed the deal for Dallas after getting an interception late in the fourth quarter giving Washington no more hope.

The Dallas Cowboys will head to LA to face the Rams next Sunday afternoon.
