Jesse Watters: "Carolina, North Dakota man who ran over and killed a teenager over a so called political dispute.Grant is now facing a felony murder charge which could put him away for life.State Attorney Kerry Brinsster initially under charge Brandt after he called the victim an extremist Republican and tried to say it was all in self defense.
But police haven't found any evidence that Kayla Ellingson was ever a part of an extremist group.And now we have a transcript, partially of the 911 call from the night of the incident.It blows up Brant's initial story.Brant asked the 911 operator, am I going to prison?Then went on to say, I hit him.I didn't mean to.And he subdued.I was scared to death, but he subdued.He can't do anything to me now.But he ran him over.
That means the impact wasn't on the collision.He ran him over and over again.And Brandon admitted it was no accident.Telling the operator, I almost just ran away,but I thought, geez, obviously if it wasa total accident, I wouldn't be scared.But I know it was more than that.And in that instance, Brand is telling the truth.This was much more than a total accident.
