DAP, PSM leaders slam Wan Saiful's attack on 'leftist' policies

DAP's P Ramasamy and PSM's S Arutchelvan have come out to pour scorn on Bersatu's Wan Saiful Wan Jan, who said that Pakatan Harapan comprised “leftist” parties based on socialism and was thus incompatible with Malaysia's development.
"Bersatu, an offshoot of the racist Umno, now wants to claim itself as a centrist party with religious credentials, whereas even Umno would want to call them a bunch of traitors.
"It was Bersatu that undermined the legitimate government of Harapan through the Sheraton Move and Wan Saiful is hardly knowledgeable in separating the different strands of ideology," Ramasamy told Malaysiakini.
