In KHKJ's debut series pilot episode, Jesse, who is transformed into a Chimchar following a time-travel accident, meets a Piplup named Ace, who is determined to form an exploration team at Wigglytuff's Guild. Ace's "Relic Fragment" is stolen from two Pokemon, and it's up to Ace and Jesse to stop the shady Zubat and Koffing. Jesse is also forced to make a decision on what he should do next with absolutely no way home.

Jesse plays the lead role as a Chimchar.
Ace plays as a Piplup.
