AMATEUR FOOTAGE OF HURRICANE FIONA CANADA

  • 2 tahun yang lalu
With a pressure of 931 millibars, the Fiona is the deepest undetected low pressure system on Canadian soil. Significant flooding was caused by storms in southern Newfoundland, northeastern Nova Scotia, and southeastern New Brunswick. In Newfoundland, many homes were also destroyed by the floods. Due to post-tropical hurricane Fiona, communities in southern Newfoundland faced major devastation, such as lost homes, flooding, and damaged roads. Port aux Basques was hit by strong winds and storm surges, and emergency evacuation orders have been issued for all those east of town hall. Burgeo and Burnt Islands are two communities struggling with similar conditions.
