Noah, also called Noah (Arabic نُوْحٌ Romanian : Nuḥ)
1 : also called Noah,
]In Islam, he is known as a prophet and messenger of God. He is one of the most determined prophets.
2 : Noah's mission was to warn his people, who were immersed in immorality and sin. God commissioned Noah to preach to his people, advising them to renounce idolatry and to worship only God and to live a good and pure life.
3 :Although he zealously preached God's message, his people refused to correct their ways, which led to the construction of the ark and the flood, the great flood. In the Islamic tradition, it is disputed whether the Great Flood was global or local.
4 : According to the Qur'an, Noah's preaching and prophethood spanned 950 years.
