Innovation Lab & Grand Challenge (ILGC) Studio - A series of courses that introduces students to challenges faced by our society and community that can be solved with technological capabilities.
The courses are a signature element of the undergraduate program and offer students an opportunity to develop an interdisciplinary appreciation for engineering.
Students develop a perspective toward problem-solving. They turn ideas into actionable solutions and apply an entrepreneurial mindset to present these ideas. They embark on this integrated, project-based journey from the very first day, and work on different projects throughout the four-year program.
In a nutshell, students focus on problem-solving, fieldwork, and innovation and build leadership skills, hone business acumen, and develop teamwork.
