'Two-nil... bye!': Thierry Henry hilariously commentates on Sporting Lisbon's second goal in their Champions League victory over Tottenham... as Arsenal legend revels in his old rivals' capitulation.

The Portuguese team beat Spurs 2-0 in the Champions League last night.

Henry was working as a pundit for CBS Sports when he made the comments while watching a replay of Arthur Gomes' excellent solo goal in stoppage time.

The Brazilian cut inside and hit the ball between the legs of defender Emerson Royal before finishing past Hugo Lloris.

Expert Jamie Carragher had Henry say "Thierry Henry's joy" as he made celebratory noises as he saw the hit again.

Henry then said: "That goal... I don't care if it was against Spurs, but he looks at what he does.

"Step by step, Meg, see you later. Hugo, Meg, see you later. Two to zero, bye."

Fans reacted with shock to Henry's comment, particularly supporters of Arsenal's rivals, as one put it: "I love that Henry still hates Spurs, he never lost to them in all his time at Arsenal."

Another reacted: "Once a gunner, always a gunner."

More saw the funny side of the legendary striker's reaction: "Thierry Henry is a savage for that comment."

Other followers said: "The moans and the 'bye-bye' are killing me."

Henry is not the only one reacting to the Spurs defeat, as his own manager, Antonio Conte, has been furious at the loss and has forced the Tottenham players to train today.

The North London club will be looking to patch things up against Leicester on Saturday.
