Preparations begin in London for Queen’s lying-in-state

Preparations are underway in London ahead of the Queen’s lying-in-state at the Palace of Westminster. Her late Majesty’s lying-in-state will be open to the public from 5pm on Wednesday 14th September until 6.30am on Monday 19th September. Members of the public are advised that there will be a queue in which they will need to stand for many hours, possibly overnight. Report by Jonesia.
