Prince Charles proclaimed as Britain’s new monarch

King Charles III was officially proclaimed the Monarch by the Accession Council in the State Apartments of St James's Palace, London on September 10. The ceremony took place in the presence of the Royal Family including his wife Camilla who will become the Queen Consort and his son Prince of Wales William. Prominent UK leaders including Prime Minister Liz Truss and former PM Boris Johnson were also present at the Palace.
