Lismore remembers Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II
  • 2 years ago
Residents in Lismore are sending their tributes for the late Queen Elizabeth the second, who visited the city in 1954. One Lismore flood victim, Norman Clapham, first saw his wife-to-be Katie at the queen's visit telling his mates "I’m going to marry that girl." Norman and his wife Katie lost everything in the floods except their beloved portrait of the Queen which had pride of place on their wall.
