Cricket player smashes ball for six straight through clubhouse window sending spectators diving out of the way

This is the moment a batsman smashed a bowler's delivery for six - only to see it hurtling through his clubhouse window. Cricketer Will O’Donnell sent the opposition bowler's full toss across the pitch towards the clubhouse while playing for Three Bridges Cricket Club against Hastings in Sussex. The ball went straight through the window leaving a gaping hole and the rest completely shattered. Spectators on the pavilion narrowly missed serious injury, including some of Three Bridges club legends who "had to hit the deck" to avoid getting hit. If O'Donnell's window-smashing hit wasn't bad enough his teammates immediately heckled him with one heard saying: "That's coming out of your wages!" Three Bridges Cricket Club said: "Kiwi Overseas player Will O’Donnell smashed a full toss into the clubhouse window for 6. "Spectators took cover as the ball smashed into the window, club legend mark McNeil hitting the deck to avoid being hit." The video quickly went viral on TikTok getting over 1,000,000 views and over 80,000 likes. Many online critiqued the bowler's delivery with jokes, some even suggesting that he should pay for the damage. One said "You can’t bowl there sir", while another said "you can't bowl there champ". Another commented on the spectators avoiding the hurtling ball saying "The old guy fully action movie diving out the way has me [dead]." The club are yet to know how much it's going to cost to replace the window but because it was double glazed, one pane of glass has been badly damaged but has been cleaned up for the time being and is scheduled to get fixed in the coming days.
