Reducing COVID isolation period 'unlikely' to affect case numbers

National cabinet has agreed to cut the isolation period for people infected with COVID-19 from seven days to five, if they don't have any symptoms. Epidemiologist Catherine Bennet believes that reducing the COVID isolation period is unlikely to lead to a rise in infections.
