The Saudi Crown Prince announced the launch of the 'Ruwi Al Madinah project
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has announced on Wednesday the start of work on the master plan and infrastructure of the 'Ruwi Al Madinah' project. This project is being implemented in the east area of Masjid Nabawi. MBS told that the project will help to improve arrangements to host 30 million Umrah pilgrims by 2030. And in this regard, it will fulfill the goals of Vision 2030. The project will be implemented in line with global standards and will provide high-quality services to Madinah visitors as per the modern requirements. The project will be established on an area of 1.5 million square meters. Under this, 47 thousand guest units will be established by 2030. There will be open courtyards and greenery. Visitors will enjoy visiting Masjid Nabawi. 63 percent of the project area will be used for greenery and open spaces. Another advantage of this project is that under it 9 stands will be constructed for the buses of visitors. There will also be a metro station and an auto track. There will be all such arrangements including underground car parking, thanks to which pilgrims will be able to come and go to Masjid Nabawi. The project will provide employment opportunities along with promotion of residential and commercial activities. This project belongs to Public Investment Fund (PIF). It is being implemented by Rui Al Madinah Holding Company. Under this, there will be property development in Madinah. The Public Investment Fund strives to develop emerging sectors on innovative lines under the Saudi Vision 2030. This project is a link in that chain.
