When this group started their hike, they were told that the trail was closing due to bear activity. But after a while, the park ranger told them it was safe to proceed. After hiking for a mile, they saw a man getting chased by a bear family. They warned everyone in the group and made noise to make it go away. Although they succeeded, the bear got dangerously close to them.
