Edinburgh bin strike leaves city overflowing with rubbish

A strike by council workers in Edinburgh means rubbish bins in the city have not been emptied this week leaving streets strewn with litter. Residents have been told to keep their rubbish indoors as fears of vermin infestations take hold. The strike is set to continue for another six days with workers returning to work on the 30th August.
