Premier says the state’s health system is best in country
  • 2 years ago
The New South Wales Premier insists the state's health system is the best in the country despite the death of a 21-year-old woman, less than two days after she was sent home from an emergency department. Dua Ali, who lived with turners’ syndrome and autism, was diagnosed with food poisoning at black town hospital in February. She died after suffering a tear in her aorta and her family are asking why more tests weren't carried out, considering her medical history. Her death is under investigation and premier Dominic Perrottet has offered his condolences.
