The public enabled judiciary to make decisions based on facts, says Anwar on Najib's case

Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim said the Federal Court’s decision on Najib Abdul Razak's SRC case has affirmed the people’s power as this would not have happened without the rakyat voting BN out in the 2018 general election.
“The rakyat made a decision in 2018 to ensure an independent judiciary and that the country is free from corruption,” he said.
He added it was the rakyat who enabled a “professional, firm and courageous” judiciary, to make a decision based on facts, instead of bowing to political pressure.
