Technological and safe, the model has an LED lighting system, a 7” Full Digital Cluster and an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) with emergency braking, among other innovative features

EFFICIENT PERFORMANCE:
The debut of the SUV Pulse in Brazil could not be faster. The model hits the market with a wide and modern catalog of transmissions and engines, including the arrival of the unprecedented Turbo 200 Flex, the most powerful 1.0 supercharged in Brazil with up to 130 hp.

The Turbo 200 Flex is capable of generating 130 hp of maximum power with ethanol (125 hp with gasoline), a number above any competitor in the segment. The ample torque of 200 Nm (20.4 kgf.m), regardless of fuel, is available between 1,750 rpm and 3,500 rpm, delivering maximum power in the range that drivers use most on a daily basis.

One of the features that enable this is BorgWarner's low-inertia turbocharger. It is equipped with an electronic wastegate, which quickly adjusts to the demands of the throttle actively. This reduces component response time and extends pressure control across the assembly. The intake system has a reduced volume, further decreasing turbo lag.

The electronic control also makes it possible to anticipate the opening of the intake valves in the exhaust phase, creating a recirculation of gases that reduces the nitrogen oxides arising from combustion. Because of this, Pulse hits the market already in compliance with the new emission rules that will take effect from 2022.

In addition to the Turbo 200 Flex, the Pulse also receives the well-known 1.3 Firefly engine, which generates 107 hp of power with ethanol at 6,250 rpm and 134 Nm (13.7 kgf.m) at 4,000 rpm, competitive numbers offered in the market and in line with the great cost-benefit of the set.

SAFETY FOR ALL
Fiat's first national SUV also marks the debut of a wide suite of equipment and safety features within the range produced at the Polo Automotivo de Betim (MG). This makes Pulse a reference in the segment, as it will reach the market with the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and a wide variety of technologies, supported by a modern and advanced project based on the new MLA platform.

Through this same camera, Pulse is able to “see” the road lanes on the asphalt, through the Lane Change Warning feature. And, if it detects that the vehicle is leaving the trajectory, an audible and visual warning on the dashboard, followed by a small application of torque on the steering wheel in the opposite direction to the lane departure, alerts the driver immediately.
