High Tide - album Sea shanties 1969

  • 2 anni fa
In 1969 one of the most ferocious and powerful records of the rock scene was released, unfortunately it was released the same year of "Led Zeppelin I°", and High Tide's "Sea shanties" went lost in the dust of the shelves. "Sea shanties" featured a hot and powerful blend of hard rock, blues, jazz and folk, with vague hints of psychedelia. Cavernous voice intertwined to a dirty, burning guitar, powerful bass lines and drum beats, and sinister, dizzying violin sounds. "Sea shanties" isn't the shining star in the hard rock firmament, it looks more like a rough diamond that anyone can search and dewater from the bottom of a coal mine.

Tony Hill - guitar, vocals.
Simon House - violin.
Peter Pavli - bass.
Roger Hadden - drums.

Futilist's lament.
Death waemed up.
Pushed but not forgotten.
Walking down their outlook.
Missing out.
Nowhere.
