Two people pulled from fiery Sports Supercar McLaren crash on the Gold Coast

A 34-year-old race car driver, and his 31-year-old passenger are lucky, to be alive, after his luxury McLaren supercar, smashed into a pole and burst into flames.

Queensland police said, the driver lost control, while exiting a roundabout, on Ashmore Road and Upton Street, in Bundall, Gold Coast, at about 10pm, on Thursday.

The $350000 sportscar then smashed, into a power pole causing, it to snap at the base from, the force of the collision.
