He plunged into making great martial arts movies with gusto, casting his favorite stars and bringing a fresh eye to the adventures. The lovely Michelle Mei Suet, star of The 36 Crazy Fist and Ten Tigers Of Shaolin, plays a spoiled and willful daughter who ignores her true love to go off in search of a swordsman she has never met. That sets the stage for one action scene after another, culminating with the girl about to be sold into slavery. If you want to bet that her true love arrives in the nick of time and that her false hero has feet of clay, you'd be a winner ... as is this amusing and entertaining variation on the standard kung-fu film.
