Duggie Brown has died, at the age of 82.
The legendary actor played, the role of Ted Spear in the ITV soap, earlier this year, after a stellar career in comedy.
The much-loved star, was also best known for appearing on The Comedians, and he is the brother of actress, and singer Lynne Perrie, who played Ivy Tilsley on Corrie for 23 years, from 1971 to 1994.
Lynne sadly died in 2006, at the age of 74, after suffering from a stroke.
