India is celebrating the 75th year of Independence Day with great grandeur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also unfurled the tricolor from Red Fort. In his address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that India is honouring the forgotten heros who played role in the country's Independence. He also recalled the strength of women and sacrifice of freedom fighters including Rani Lakshmi Bai and Begum Hazrat Mahal and said the nation is beholden to them.
