A heart-wrencing incident has taken place in Jalore district of Rajasthan where a nine-year-old Dalit boy died after he was allegedly beaten up by a teacher for drinking water from a pot in a private school. The victim, a student of a private school in Surana village in Jalore district, was beaten up on July 20 and succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.
