Lakshmibai, the Rani of Jhansi, was an Indian queen, the Maharani consort of the Maratha princely state of Jhansi from 1843 to 1853 as the wife of Maharaja Gangadhar Rao,1842 ರಲ್ಲಿ, ಮನು ಝಾನ್ಸಿಯ ರಾಜ ಗಂಗಾಧರ ರಾವ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ವಿವಾಹವಾದರು. ಆಗ ಆಕೆಗೆ 12 ವರ್ಷ. ಮದುವೆಯಾದ ನಂತರ ಆಕೆಗೆ ‘ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀಬಾಯಿ’ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರು ಬಂತು
