Experience Himachal Pradesh with us. In this tour blog/ vlog, we have shown our journey from Shimla (Himachal Pradesh, India) to Kalka by Shimla-Kalka toy train through video clips and travel photography (streamed in a video format).
The Kalka–Shimla railway is a narrow-gauge railway of track width 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) that establishes a connectivity between Kalka and Shimla (the summer capital of British India).
This railway route is around 97 km long and has 18 railway stations including Kalka and Shimla.
This railway was opened for passengers in 1903.
On 8 July 2008, the Kalka–Shimla railway has been inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list as one of the three Mountain Railways of India.
Along with that, we have provided most possible itinerary planning (tour planning) of our journey. We are here not only to share our travel experience to you but also to provide you help to plan your itinerary (tour planning/ train route planning) if you feel to ask us.
