The first cargo of grain to be exported from Ukraine under a landmark deal brokered by the United Nations and Türkiye was rejected. The original Lebanese buyer “refused to accept the cargo due to delays in delivery terms”, the Ukrainian embassy in Lebanon said on August 8, 2022. The cargo ship Razoni is looking for another port to offload its 26,000 tonnes of maize.
