With the arrest of one passenger Ravi Rameshbhai Chaudhary and agent identified as Jamil Picturewala, Delhi Police has busted an international immigration racket.

The gang was duping people on the pretext of sending them to foreign shores.

The arrested agent was involved in arranging forged passports with the help of his accomplices based in Gujarat and Mumbai. The arrested passenger was supposed to reach the USA via different countries but was deported to India after authorities found his documents forged during immigration checks in Kuwait.

After hearing about the passenger’s arrest, agents involved in the racket fled from their homes in Gujarat and Mumbai and continuously kept on changing their locations.

Their call details were minutely scrutinised and a police team intercepted the movement of alleged agent Jamil Picturewala in Mumbai. On the basis of the information, the police raided the possible hideout and apprehended him. Four mobile phones were also recovered from his possession.
