Hello and I welcome you all to my Dailymotion channel "Bhula Vibhu"
So this is the first episode of my Chardham Yatra Vlog in which I will be travelling to Yamunotri Dham, the first dham of the Chardham Yatra.
Yamunotri Dham is located in Uttarkashi district of the state of Uttarakhand. Yamunotri Dham is also considered to be the origin of river Yamuna and is therefore a place of worship of Goddess Yamuna. In the Chardham Yatra, the Yamunotri Dham is first visited. The Yamuna Mata temple located here is believed to have been first built by the Garhwal Emperor Sudarshan Shah in the early 19th century, which was washed away in a severe flood, after which Garhwal Emperor Pratap Shah also got it rebuilt, which also got washed away. The credit for the present structure of the temple goes to the Queen of King Pratap Shah, Maharani Guleria.
