Other laws needed to eradicate smoking among youths, say NGOs

A group of NGOs and health activists have suggested that other laws not related to health need to be enforced to ensure the effectiveness of the Generational End Game (GEG) bill for curbing tobacco consumption.

National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) managing director Dr Murallitharan Munisamy on Friday (August 5) said one example could be to require retailers to register for a licence to sell tobacco and e-cigarette products.
